Effective 03/11/2026. Last updated 03/11/2026. Planning Table - Planning Poker for Jira ("Planning Table", "the app") is provided by Wattlebrooks Apps, Australia, through the Atlassian Marketplace.

The short version

• Everything stays inside Atlassian. Nothing is sent to outside servers or third parties.
• The app keeps only what an estimation session needs, in app storage on your own Atlassian site.
• Wattlebrooks Apps cannot access your site's data, and we never sell or share it.

Data the app reads

• Work items you select: key, summary, type, description, status, priority, labels and current estimate, so the room can show context while you vote. Reference panels read existing estimates from your chosen field.
• Participants: Atlassian account id and display name, so the room can show who has joined and who has voted.

The app reads data as the person using it, so nobody sees a work item they couldn't already open in Jira.

Data the app stores

In app storage hosted and encrypted at rest by Atlassian, on your own site:

• Session settings (name, mode, scale, save field, options).
• The keys, summaries and types of the work items in each session.
• Votes: the card chosen, the voter's account id and display name, and a time.
• The participant list, including who is spectating.
• Bucket placements and agreed finals.

That is the complete list. No email addresses, passwords, tokens, comments or attachments are stored. If your Atlassian site is pinned to a data residency region, the app's storage follows it.

Changes the app makes in Jira

The only change Planning Table makes in Jira is writing an agreed estimate to the number field you chose, when the facilitator saves it. It is written as the facilitator, so Jira permissions and history apply.

What we do not do

• We do not send data to outside servers or third parties.
• We do not use cookies, analytics, tracking or AI in the app.
• We do not collect IP addresses, location or usage telemetry.
• We do not sell or share data.

Retention and deletion

Session data stays until the session is deleted. Deleting a session removes its votes, participant list and bucket placements; estimates already saved to Jira stay in Jira. Up to 100 sessions are kept per site. When the app is uninstalled, Atlassian removes its storage under the platform's data lifecycle.

Your rights

You can see everything the app stores in the app itself, delete any session, or remove all app data by uninstalling. For GDPR, CCPA or similar requests, contact us and we will help.

Children

Planning Table is a business tool and is not intended for people under 18.
